Rocket Re-Launch a Success... Mission Accomplished!

In the first appearance for Roger Clemens this year he gave the Yankees six credible innings, striking out 7 and getting the win. It was win number 5 in a row for the N.Y. Yankees. They didn't gain any ground but they didn't lose any either. It will be important that the Yankees sweep the Pirates and keep this win streak alive for when the Diamondbacks come into town. Jeter before the first pitch joked around with Clemens by going to the mound and introducing Clemens to the infield. Today the Yankees face Shawn Chacon who pitched well for the Yankees a few seasons ago. The Yankees will put youngster Tyler Clippard on the mound who has done a credible job all season.
