Listen back to Josh Springer on the Eddie I Beat

as reported by KSN Radio Host Ethan Kwassman
Josh Springer, the vocals behind Soundscape Soul joined Kwass & Jon on the Eddie I Beat. Go to www.blogtalkradio.com/eddieibeat to hear the episode and 26 minutes into the show the interview with Josh Springer took place. We were featured on the front page (left) as you can see. Jon will probably replace my screenshot with his, since his is 10x better with his Macintosh.

...If you're wondering why I'm writing short posts its because, I'm leaving for camp in less than 2 days and I want to make sure everything is in. However, KSN is not entering hibernation, only me!

KSN Radio reaches season high in listeners!

as reported by Ethan Kwassman KSN Radio Host

Today, "The Sports Docket with Aceman and the Kwass" set a KSN Radio milestone with eighteen live listeners! Woot woot! We had Matthew Cerrone, the creator of MetsBlog.com on with us, and I'll post a transcript of that later on. Even though we had some technical difficulties, overall we had an excellent show. With Matthew Cerrone's brilliant insight on the recent struggles of the Mets, and plenty of enthusiastic callers, we had a pretty entertaining show. Our intro (the Kurt Angle one) didn't play cause the line at the beginning of the show was shot, however, Steven played a hilarious birthday song thingy for Kwass's sixteenth birthday. So, be sure to check out the archive of the eleventh episode of The Sports Docket, which broke the mark of nine listeners set by the third episode of System Showdown, on KSN Radio!

Despite the Mets struggles, The Sports Docket with "Aceman & the Kwass" will have a big show airing from 3:30-4:30 p.m. EST here. Matthew Cerrone, the founder of the second-most traffic Mets website, MetsBlog.Com behind only the official site, Mets.Com, will join us tomorrow @ 3:45 p.m. EST. Kwass enters Hibernation soon! But not KSN, there will be shows!

as reported by Ethan Kwassman KSN Radio Host

In 10 days, the Kwass will be going into hibernation. I will be returning to Camp Edward Isaacs, after a summer @ Camp Rising Sun in 2006. This will be my 6th out of 7th summer @ Eddie I. However, just because the Kwass will be hibernation doesn't mean that KSN or KSN Radio will be. Listed below are how KSN Radio will round out during the Summertime. I'll be back on August 18th to return back to work as a KSN Host, Sportswriter, and Tech reporter, lol.

The Sports Docket has already done 10 episodes before the summer has began. We have had guests from YanksBlog, DetroitBadBoys, Anaheim Ducks Fan Blog, HoopVibe, ArmChairGM, Hockey Night on Long Island Show, and MVN (Most Valuable Network), We will have 2 more (maybe a third) before the Kwass enters hibernation. However, Steven Ackerman aka Aceman will be carrying you twice a week during the summer with some high-profile guests and some great NY sports shows through the dog days of summer.

System Showdown plans to have one more show before the Kwass and Jon enter hibernation. Well, Jon has already entered hibernation. Where you at?, Jon! However, We've had four shows thus far and all of them have been pretty heated. Kwass, the PC user has been in four, Jon, the Mac user has been in three, and Zeeshan aka Zixan, the Linux user has akso been in three of them. Download those shows to your iPod: they're more comedy than technology! We also had one big-name guest Arnold Kim, the creator of MacRumors.Com, one of the most popular Apple interactive websites. (That reminds me I need to get around to posting that transcript or interview audio!)

L'Chaim has yet to debut, and we're not sure if we will by the time the Kwass goes into hibernation. However, when it gets going it will be a panel of Jews talking everything from Torah tidbits and nuggets to clean Jewish jokes (of course). Joining the Kwass, will be twins Alan Kruchin and George Kruchin, Eugene, the great Jew and ruler of the website, JewPower!, and Daniel Fleischman. However, when this show get's going, it'll be sick.

Eddie I Beat will probably only interest Camp Edward Isaacs campers, staff, and alumni, but we can take your phone calls on everything from good music to Jew talk. Our first show is today @ 3 p.m. with Kwass , D-Korn, Jewbacca, and Midvidy. AKA Ethan Kwassman, Daniel Kornreich, Aaron Zarabi, and Adam Midvidy. We will previewing the 2007 Edward Isaacs summer and may have some good clips during the program. This may be our only show, with one more with Jon maybe, before the CEI Summer. However, during the summer, we may simulcast with the Camp Edward Isaacs loudspeaker, lol. It might happen!
We also have to greatly thank BlogTalkRadio for putting up with the Kwass, and letting him make 4 accounts and not making a big deal about it. And, of course, for their technology in allowing anyone to have their own LIVE! Radio Show right from their crib. Thank you BTR!, changing lives everyday!, lol.

KSN Radio adds a third show to repetoire!

as reported by KSN Radio Host Ethan Kwassman

(click the logo on the left to go to the host channel page of "L'Chaim")

Sports, Technology, and now Jew Talk! The Kwass has added a third show to the increasing popular KSN Radio sponsored by BlogTalkRadio.Com. This show is called the "Le Chaim Show w/Kwass & Co." or in short, L'Chaim. This show is not your typical religion show. We combine Jewish Torah discussion (in an awesome way), hilarious, yet of course, clean jokes, funny songs, and just interesting conversations overall.

Co-hosts joining me for shows will include on different occassions: George Kruchin, his twin brother Alan Kruchin, Eugene Mendelsohn, and Daniel Fleischman, and possibly Jonny Spikes. Our debut show will either be this upcoming Thursday, June 14, 2007, or next Tuesday, June 19, 2007. Stay TUNED!

Detroit Pistons: Transcript with Matt Watson of DetroitBadBoys.Com

as reported by Ethan Kwassman KSN Radio Host

(left) Daniel Gibson was the hero for the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 6

Here's what Matt Watson, of DetroitBadBoys.Com had to say during Aceman and the Kwass's interview with him on our show Friday afternoon:

  • on Lebron James versus the Pistons in Game 5

"It was 1 on 5 [Detroit Pistons], and surprisingly 1 won out"

  • on how he got the name DetroitBadBoys.Com

"The name came about from the Pistons in the 1980s when they were winning championships, in the days of Isiah Thomas"

  • on the Pistons defense versus LeBron James (listen up San Antonio)

"I wish I had the answer. The Pistons played a lot of attention, double-teaming LeBron, forcing him to take the ball out his hand. We were double-teaming him early, and then guys like Drew Gooden beat us. And then we stopped double-teaming, and he beat us singlehandedly"

  • on the play of Tashaun Prince

"His offense has definitely been slowed. Early in the series, he did a great job containing Lebron."

  • Lebron's dunks

"The Pistons were determined to play one-and=one, and relying alot on their help defense. You would think that after he's scoring like 20 in a row, they [Detroit Pistons], would start to foul him."

Bruce Bowen better listen to that^^^

  • on Filip Saunders

"Saunders is allegedly more of an offensive coach. Larry Brown preached "De-fense, De-fense, De-fense"... Saunders has been getting a lot of heat, because the Pistons have not been playing up to his strengths."

For more the interview, check out our host channel.

KSN is voting for Soundscape Soul to go to Austin!

as reported by KSN Reporter Ethan Kwassman

(click the logo to go to the offical site of Soundscape Soul)

There's a HOT new band on the New York Music Scene. They're called Soundscape Soul with Josh Springer on the vocals, and Matt Aronson on the guitar.

They have entered into a competition on FameCast.Com, and you can vote for them here. They sound like Jon Mayer, but even more unique. You've got to check 'em out! Their newest single, Golden Lady will blow your socks off! You can check out Josh Springer's official website here.

''Last season, we made it all the way to the Top 5 Round on FameCast’s Pop stage. However, a conflict between the date of the show and the Jewish holiday of Passover made it impossible for us to go. After spending all of their energy, and the energy of their fans, we were left with no choice to withdraw, as FameCast was unable to come to a compromise between the timing of the holiday and the show." -Josh Springer on Facebook note

If you have 5 minutes, here’s how you can vote:
  1. Create a Fan Account by going to:
    http://www.famecast.com/registerfan.php
  2. Verify your email address after you register.
  3. Head to our current Voting Page to:
    http://www.soundscapesoul.com/famecast1
  4. Click on the “Vote For This Artist” icon on the left side of the voting page, next to our video.
And maybe, in the future, Soundscape Soul will perform LIVE! on our show, "The Sports Docket" (in between the talk). That'll be awesome! So, guys, get voting!
